Last year, I participated in the Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge. I read 309 books, which was HUGE. I'm rethinking my goals for this year, and have decided to withdraw from that challenge for 2012 and just read for pleasure instead of trying to meet some outrageous goal. Besides, I would have had to pretty much read a book a day to beat last year, and I just don't want reading to become a chore. I've changed my goal on Goodreads to read 150 books this year. Very easy, very doable, and if I feel like I can do more, I can always increase. I'd rather have this year be all about reading books that I love instead of just picking books up to make up numbers.
