New Rating System

I've decided that it's time to retire my drawings that I've been using for my rating system. They've been fun and I love them, but they don't really fit in with the vintage theme of my blog. I've decided to go with something that will fit a little better.

So, without further ado, here is my new rating system!

5 Eiffel Towers = the very best of books, the kind that are so good that they make me feel giddy and unable to speak for several hours afterwards.

4.5 Eiffel Towers = It's *almost* that good, but doesn't quite have the same effect as a 5-Tower book. It's close though!

4 Eiffel Towers = Really great book that I'll enjoy reading again.

3.5 Eiffel Towers = Quite enjoyable and one that I may pick up again at some point.

3 Eiffel Towers = Pretty good. Overall, I enjoyed it, but there were a few flaws that detracted a bit.

2.5 Eiffel Towers = It was okay. Not one that really stole my heart, but not bad either.

2 Eiffel Towers = Just meh. Nothing to really enjoy or dislike. Brings no real feelings either way.

1.5 Eiffel Towers = A book that I didn't enjoy, but there may be something redeeming about it - the idea, characters...there was something that I liked.

1 Eiffel Tower = I just plain didn't like it. Nothing spoke to me and I had a hard time finishing.

.5 Eiffel Tower = Major flaws that detracted from the reading experience.

0 Eiffel Towers = DNF
