Welcome to my blog!
Q: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?
I bet you know what I'm going to say, especially if you've spent any time here.
Yep, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.
For me, this book was about as close to perfect as it gets. I couldn't imagine that seeing it on the big screen would do anything but detract from that perfection. I'm usually pretty good at separating books from movies, but in this case, I'm afraid I'd be a purist and be very upset with any changes...even minor ones.
So please, Hollywood, DO NOT RUIN THIS BOOK FOR ME. (not that I'd see the movie...but I'd be irritated that they desecrated the book)
How about you? Which book to movie adaptation would make you cringe?
