Well, Bloggiesta has come and gone. Did I get everything done? No, I did not. But just because the weekend is over doesn't mean that my blogging improvement is. I'm going to continue to work on my goals and make things even better around here.
So, here's what I accomplished:
For this blog, I got the design things all done. Background, banner, and button complete. Sidebars are cleaned up, with only the content that I'm set on remaining. Special for Sundays page updated, and posts written/scheduled through the end of May, with an outline of what I'm going to do for the rest of the summer. Four reviews written/scheduled. Five authors contacted about interviews, with four positive responses so far. A contact database set up in Excel so I know when I've contacted people and for what. I also started a couple more review books that are releasing in April. Wrapped up a giveaway and contacted the winner (she chose Delirium...smart girl!)
For my personal blog:
Got the design stuff done: background, banner, and button. Also cleaned up my sidebars. Did not get an update post written, though I did write about Bloggiesta. Will work on doing better on this blog. Last year, I blogged a ton on this one. This year, I've been focused more on my book blog. That's okay, but I want to pay a bit more attention to being philosophical and quirky.
For my style blog:
Again, got all the design stuff done and cleaned up the sidebars. I didn't get much else done on that one, though I did write up a list of where I was going next with my Paris travel series. I'll try to do better at keeping it to at least a post a week.
Overall, I feel good about what I got done. I had a lot of other stuff going on this weekend, which interfered with my time to spend on my blogs. In the time that I did have, I'm pretty pleased with my accomplishments.
So here's to a continuing Bloggiesta, where things will just get better and better!
